On the 14th of June 2022, lead partner Regional Development Centre Koper (Slovenia) in collaboration with all SMILE PLUS partners, organized a hybrid final dissemination event focused on the use of post-covid-19 mobility scenarios for transport planning set up in SMILE PLUS and on the role of European territorial cooperation promoting sustainable mobility and increasing cohesion. Project partners from SMILE project and SMILE PLUS project participated together with Interconnect project and other ETC beneficiaries. Ms. Glikeria Mirovali from Certh (Greece) participated on behalf of Interconnect PLUS lead partner. It was the occasion to capitalize, disseminate and promote the results of all partner projects.
One of the SMILE PLUS project partners, University of Venice IUAV (Italy) presented the SMILE PLUS video tutorial, which is one of the project results. The other two project partners presented mobility scenarios for the cities of Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Zrenjanin (Serbia). From the municipality of Koper (Slovenia) Ms. Ivana Štrkalj presented sustainable aspects of mobility management in the municipality of Koper. Another example of good practice was presented by Igor Doler, from the School center Velenje (Slovenia). Mr. Doler presented Bicy project, a project for automated bike-sharing system in the city of Velenje, funded by European funds. A large amount of participants was present at the event (54) considering both, live audience as well as virtual audience. This combination enabled attendees and speaker who could not be physically present at the location, to join the event virtually via online platform. At the end of the event, a test ride with e-bikes and scooters was available for the participants.
