The paper “How to evaluate and plan the freight-passengers first-last mile”, written by Silvio Nocera, Giuseppe Pungillo and Francesco Bruzzone from the Iuav University of Venice, has been accepted for publication in the Transport Policy journal . The paper was presented at the 15th World Conference on Transport Research in Mumbai, India (May 2019).
The content, showing the results of the earlier research steps taken within SMILE, as a systematic approach for the analysis of a wider category of First-Last-Mile instances, is identified and presented. The journal that accepted the paper belongs to the elite Q1, according to the SCIMAGO journal ranking on transportation.
