Between 4th and 6th April, a meeting for the SMILE PLUS project, Interreg Adrion, took place in Dubrovnik (Croatia). The purpose of the meeting was to make project overview, present single work packages status, status of project expenditures, management rules, define activities that have been carried out since project start and those that still must be accomplished.
The first day has been reserved for bilateral meetings. Project partner specialists have had the opportunity to meet their counterparts in other area for an exchange of ideas about the running technical activities. The second day the focus was based to the activities that are going on at different work packages of the SMILE PLUS project. A short overview of activities carried out on work package management had been given.
Mr. Francesco Bruzzone from IUAV (Italy) gave a presentation about the updating of the mobility scenarios tool and video-tutorial that are the main activities of the work package T1. All project partner specialists could benefit from the support of coordinator (IUAV) on how tackling the task locally, so that all scenarios will be updated following the same, common methodology successfully adopted in the SMILE project.
At the end of the project partners meeting, the host partner DURA organised a press conference to announce the start of the SMILE PLUS project. A good number of local press media have accepted the invitation and joind the conference.
