SMILE at EUROPEAN WEEK and Open Days of EU projects in Dubrovnik

To mark the European Day and European Week, a presentation of EU projects in the Dubrovnik – Neretva region was held at the Lero Hotel in Dubrovnik on 16th May 2019, as a part of the Open Days of EU Projects in Dubrovnik-Neretva County program. The SMILE project (FirSt and last Mile Inter- modal mobiLity in congested urban arEas of Adrion Region) was presented to almost  100 people who attended the conference.

City of Dubrovnik Development Agency – DURA project partner emphasised that SMILE involves cities and regions located on coastal and internal areas of the ADRION region. All these areas are affected by intense urban traffic, made worse by commuting and, in some of areas,  tourist flows, the latter generally during summer. SMILE intends to give a template of a transnational SUMP alongside an app that will help to find sustainable mobility solutions.
